In 2022, about a month after reading an article about Aquamation, we had to put down our 16 year old Cocker Spaniel, Norman. We are fortunate enough to have room on our property to bury him, but I thought about those who live in townhouses, condo’s, who don’t have the room, or who are elderly and cannot physically dig a grave for their beloved pets when they pass.
I believe that people would want to take care of their pets in an environmentally friendly way that does not contaminate the beautiful area we live in with toxic chemicals and fumes into the surrounding air. So we started Oregon Aquamation to fill that need in our community.
Our bamboo urns are sustainable, but we offer other options as well for more decorative urns using recycled aluminum. We use premium card stock for ink paw prints as well. Coming from a background in computers I devised a way to laser engrave your pets actual paw print and name on our bamboo urns, rather than a generic cartoon paw print, making it a bit of a more special keepsake.
As we are pet parents ourselves (dogs, cats, alpacas, goats, chicken, ducks, and peafowl) we treat your pet as if it were our own and treat them with love and respect every step of the way.
